The schedules are set for the first round of the USPHL Premier division playoffs. Every series is a best of three and both the Charlotte Rush and Carolina Eagles have qualified finishing second and fourth in the South East, respectively.
Both the Rush and Eagles will be facing their opponents at the Chilled Ponds Ice Sports Complex in Chesapeake, Virginia. Charlotte will be facing the Richmond Generals and will be designated as the home team as they finished in second while Carolina will be the away team to the defending champion Hampton Roads Whalers.
While the Rush have not faced Richmond recently, the Eagles have faced the Whalers in a split series with the Eagles winning the Friday night game and the Whalers taking the game on Saturday morning.
